Three one act plays performed in March 2024

An evening of one-act comedy plays

The first was 'Welcome to our Village, please invade carefully' by Eddie Robson, part two. A BBC radio play performed with live sound effects and continuing the story began triumphantly at last year's Festival.

Second was Ob-la-di, ob-la-da, life goes on' is a play by Bishopsteignton's own Chris Code. Des a hard-up busker living with his girlfriend, Molly, who gives him until the end of the day to decide whether to marry her or move out, but what about his freedom. Many a passer-by adds to his indecision.

'Trouble at Upper Thong' by Alan Stockdill. Two warring Yorkshire farming and the equally quarrelsome prospective mother-in-law who despairs of her useless son, the voracious widow who wants the fiance for herself and the quack doctor with his agend
